he said before sitting on a chair and taking a book

Tristan came into the lounge with his right hand in his jean pocket, the other housing a lit cigarette. He kept thinking of Josephine, wondering how she managed to rack up the gall to shoot him and then herself on that winter night so long ago. It bothered him that he was alive, in a sense, and she was off somewhere buried underground, but there was no sense in dwelling on it. He had pressing matters to attend to.. but his thoughts always drifted back to her.

He leaned on the wall, watching the scene unfold as he puffed out clouds of smoke, smirking. "Hm, we have some lovely feisty women in our clan, don't we.. nevertheless, it's the same everywhere," he commented, not really bothering tp care if anyone acknowledged his comment.

Tristan nodded to Ivan, putting his cigarette back in his fingers, "Don't be so formal.. it's just Tristan," he said, grinning. That grin soon disappeared when Jade made a snarky comment, supposedly about his presence. The hell was up her ass? "Well, if you're referring to me, mon cherì," said Tristan, smirking at her, "You may as well be insulting everyone else in the vicinity.. and I'm sure they won't take lightly to being insulted by a hothead."
