(Sia lets anyone come in at anytime.. but just don't expect her to be cheery about it. ;D) Sierra: What the hell, people? UGH. Just tell me what you want so I can go back to sleep. Sierra: Um.. okay, since you're still here, screw it. I'm going to bed. You can watch me and be all stalkerish if you want. Whatevs.

Sierra stumbled into her room a few minutes after they left the Ball, a goofy smile on the girl's face as she showed Bruce her room. "Voìla, we are heere," she said, taking a minute to go behind her dressing curtain to change into a plaid shirt and some shorts, "Still up for that absinthe, Brucey dearest?"

"no thank you." He chuckles, shaking his head, "I'd like to keep my mind about me right now, maybe later though." He looks around, "It's blue."

Sierra's head popped up from behind the curtain, "Yes, the majority of my room is painted blue.. I like blue, okay?" She held up a zebra print pillow and grinned, "..and zebras. But whatever. You can have a seat in a chair or something.. don't have to stand up. Does your arm hurt?"

"like hell" Bruce nods, glancing to his arm, "I best get it set...though I don't think i'll get gangrene or something like that considering I'm already dead."

Sierra nodded, walking from behins the curtain to the edge of her bed. "I think I have some herbs from the forest down here.. can use 'em to make this paste my Cherokee tribe used to use on wounds and broken bones and stuff."
She fished around for a second, then finally pulled out a basket of earthy smelling herbs as well as a bowl full of the aforementioned paste. She picked up the bowl and carried it to where Bruce was sitting, putting it down and starting to untie the makeshift sling she made for him, "Don't try to move your arm. I'm gonna try to be as careful as I can.. this paste here numbs the skin and the bone under it while it repairs it.. so you'll be able to move it and everything without it hurting you. Sound good?"

Bruce nods, blinking in surprise, "sounds excellent to me!"
He tilts his head, looking to the paste, "How exactly does it work?"

Sierra stayed silent for a while, keeping her absolute focus on Bruce's arm. "When I was younger, my grandparents used to tell me it was old magic passed down from our ancestors.. but I figured it out. It's the chemical reaction from the different plants and stuff.. and the healing part, I don't know. I guess the magic part really is true.. even if I don't believe in it anymore."
She swirled her hands in the paste, softly placing her hands on his arm before massaging the paste into his skin, "It's going to be really cold for a few minutes.. then it'll warm up. You'll feel a bunch better, though."

Bruce nods, listening to everything she says. He watches her apply the medicine on his arm, tilting his head.
"Interesting to say the least, I haven't had much experience with medicine myself."

Sierra looked up from her work and smiled at Bruce, putting a little bit more of the paste on her fingers and rubbing it into his muscle to relieve some of the tension, "I studied under my mom for a while when I was younger.. she was the tribe medic. It was interesting for a while.." Her eyes clouded over for a second, but she fixed her face and looked up at him, wiping the paste off of her slender fingers, "Feel any better yet?"

Bruce nods, watching the wound then he looks up at her, "Yes, much better, thank you very much."
He blinks and tilts his head, "Tribe medic?"

Sierra put her hands in her lap, crossing her legs as she sat in front of Bruce, "Mm hmm. I come from a Cherokee Indian tribe.. my tribe, we believed in the sacredness of the earth and all these other things. My mom was the expert, though. She knew every single plant and remedy that could be found or made.. people came to her for everything. A cold, major wound, even a birth.."
She smiled at the memory of her mother, then continued speaking, "I was next in line, you see.. then we were forced to relocate thousands of miles on foot and they just all withered away. My parents, my brother, my little sister.. almost everyone, so." She kept a straight face, but blinked a couple of times and ruffled her hair, "Well, did that answer your question? I know I gave more info that you asked for, but..

Bruce listens to her intently, nodding and frowning. He reaches out and pulls her into a single armed hug, careful of his broken one.
"I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I know it must hurt to loose the ones you cared for so much." he nods, grimacing as he remembers his own parents.

Taken by surprise, Sierra sat in silence for a moment, then lightly hugged him back. "..Thank you, Bruce," she said, her voice cracking. Before she knew it, she felt warm tears running down her face, and she hugged him tighter for a moment. She never cried in front of anyone.. much less showed her vulnerable side. It just came out. She pulled away from him, quickly wiping away her tears, "Sorry," she said, chuckling softly, "I don't.. cry in front of people. Enough of this sad stuff, anyway.. I just.. I dunno, my emotions got the best of me."

Bruce silently hugs her and watches her when she pulls away. He sets his hand on her shoulder, "it's alright, it's good to let your emotions out." he smiles sadly, nodding, "it's better than just keeping them all inside."
