Age: Turned at 25, is actually around 150 years old
Clan: Lestat
Strength: He’s an extremely good fighter, and is extremely passionate in his fighting as well. He always gives his all, and though he isn’t that great with the telepathic abilities, he always does seem to have a talent with seeing the true feelings in people.
Weakness: Any mention of his mom, as his last memories of her are rather painful for him. He also has a bit of bad luck with love….so yeah.

Personality : Very self-confident and smug. He’s also very sarcastic, but still has a bit of that hopeless romantic poet in him. It’s buried deep down though.
Back story: Spike was born in 1860 England. His father died when he was young, and he was raised by his mother, whom he absolutely adored. He grew an interest in poetry, and quickly took up writing poems on the spot. They weren’t very good – in fact, he was dubbed William the Bloody, for writing such “bloody awful poetry” – but his mother supported him all the way. However, William was constantly worried about his mother, as she developed consumption when he was in his mid-twenties. He refused to leave her side, but she insisted that he continue to go out and hang with his friends. Well, it so happens that he took a fancy to a young woman one day. He recited one of his poems to her, and she was thoroughly embarrassed, told William he was “beneath her” – as she also happened to be a bit higher up in class – and left poor Willie heart-broken. However, a string of this woman’s suitors decided to teach William a lesson, and they mugged him as he was walking home, leaving him near death. He was found by a vampire – whom to this day he does not know who it was – and changed into a vampire. However, William didn’t wake until the next night – as is the way with vampires. He wasn’t sure what had happened, all he knew was that he felt stronger. So he ran. He ran home to his mother, but found her dead, some blood on her mouth from the coughing that came with consumption. William was overcome with grief, and he spent about an hour crying before something else took place in his heart. Rage. He was angry. Angry at the woman who had rejected him, angry at those men who attacked him. If he’d been home, he might have been able to send for a doctor to save his mother!! And in that blind rage, he managed to massacre around half the small village he was living in. And that was when William stopped being William the Bloody Poet. He took up with the Lestat’s, drinking Proteus’ blood to join the clan (The most disgusting experience of his life, as he puts it). However, he didn’t always stay with the clan, preferring to travel all over. He was in China for the boxer rebellion, liking all of the chaos and killing. He found he had a preference for killing people with spikes, which is when he changed his name from William, to Spike. He traveled to America in the 1960s, going to Woodstock, and managed to get high off drinking the blood of a hippie, and spent five hours watching his hand move. Somewhere between then and the seventies he decided to bleach his hair and start wearing leather all the time. To this day, he claims that Billy Idol stole his look.
He now lives with the Lestats, having gotten bored of traveling, and hoping something interesting will pop up around them.
