Name : Rumplestiltskin
Age : Uh…was turned at like…45….but is really….like….hundreds and hundreds of years older than that. O.O He is what inspired the fairy tale of Rumplestiltskin, if that lets you in on how old he is. ._.
Clan : Masters
Strength : Manipulation. He is a very slippery man. He knows how to make deals so that they always end up in his favor, and is very good at tricking people into making those deals. “I know how to recognize a desperate soul” is pretty much how he does it. He also is EXTREMELY proficient when it comes to magic, and though he may not be much of a fighter, he certainly is very quick and good at using his strengths and your weaknesses to his advantage.
Weakness : He….uh….gets very put-off when people show genuine affection towards him, as he isn’t used to it. However, he’s also very distrustful when people try to get close to him, as he suspects they’re trying to find his weaknesses to betray him, so he doesn’t have any genuine friends or people who’d care if he died or not…
Purblood or Turned?: Turned
{If turned} Who turned you and why?: Aladdin
Personality : Extremely creepy at times, though is also very clever and witty and charismatic. He often seems a bit crazy – and in truth, he is – and also seems very playful and childlike at times.
Back story: Rumplestiltskin was born in extremely old Scotland, back when the closest to religion were the druids and tey left out milk for mischievous elves and hung iron over cradles to protect their children from fairies. And Rumpel lived in an old impoverished village during a time of war. He was married, and had an infant son when the soldiers came to draft him for the war at 25. Rumpelstiltskin unwillingly left, rode into battle, took an arrow to the knee and fled without doing any actual fighting. However, it wasn’t until he found his wife’s head on a spike and his infant son near death that he realized what the penalty for desertion was. He raised his son with all the love and care he could give, as the young boy, Baelfire, was all he had. He protected him as well as a crippled spinster could, but that proved to be near useless when the war-lord’s soldiers came, taunting Rumpel that they would be collecting his son for the army in three days, when he would be turning 13. Desperate, Rumpel tried to flee with his son, but the soldiers found them, humiliated Rumplestiltskin, and beat him before riding off and laughing. Broken and hopeless, he wept, knowing there was no way he could protect his son. However, he was found by Aladdin, who took pity on his tale and turned him into a vampire, giving him the power to protect his son. When Rumplestiltskin awoke the next day, he felt the power in his veins, and slipping on the Masters ring he had been given, he arrived at the village just as the soldiers were about to collect his son. They saw the power he now possessed, and they cowered. Rumpelstiltskin subjected them to the same humiliation he had been forced to endure, and then he slaughtered them. He managed to stop the war by frightening the two war-lords into a peace treaty, and then went back to the village to live with his son, cutting down anyone who got in their way, or hurt Baelfire in the slightest. It wasn’t soon before children were afraid to play in front of their house, and no one wanted to be near Baelfire. The boy, however, did not like this arrangement. He missed his father, the man with the kind eyes and the soft voice. And he told Rumpelstiltskin this, and though the older man didn’t understand, he said that all he wanted was Baelfire’s happiness, so promised that if the boy found a way to rid him of his power, he’d do it. With newlyfound hope, Baelfire set out, and Rumpelstiltskin was surprised to find that the next day he returned with a magic bean, which he said would create a portal to a world where magic did not exist. Hesitant, but having promised his son, he set out with him to the forest, where Baelfire planted the seed. At first, nothing happened, but then a green vortex appeared, starting to suck in Baelfire and Rumpelstiltskin. But Rumpelstiltskin clung to a tree, refusing to be sucked in. Baelfire pleaded with his father, clinging to his leg, saying he’d promised, but Rumpel just looked at him, and said “I can’t.” And Baelfire stared at his father in betrayal, and shouted one last thing at him before he was sucked in. “You coward!!!”
The vortex closed immediately after consuming the boy.
Rumpelstiltskin sat in shock, and then started clawing at the ground where the vortex had been, shouting and crying that he’d changed his mind, that he wanted to go with him. He was like that for hours before finally leaving, but not returning home. He vowed he’d find a way to get his son back, and that he’d love nothing else nor do anything else until he’d found a way to bring him back.
Since then he’s moved about, learning all he could about magic, becoming quite proficient in it, and making a name for himself by making deals with “desperate souls,” deals that often came to bite people in the butt. His most famous one being to ask for the first-born child (he claims to this day that the Grimm Fairy Tale was based off of him). He now resides in the Masters Village, his home clan, waiting to see what this struggle between the Alucards and Lestats will bring.
Also, his normal appearance is quite….strange looking, so when amongst the humans, he takes on the alias of Mr. Gold.
