Name: Oswin
Age: 20 years old
Personality: Oswin has a knack for getting herself into troublesome situations, she's much more "book smart" as opposed to "street smart". She loves a good adventure and has a hard time settling down in any one place or with any one man. She doesn't like being anyone's second option though and will make things quite clear with you if you think that you can treat her in any way less then she deserves.
Backstory: Oswin grew up with two very loving parents by her side though spent the majority of her childhood with her mother. Her father was a very important business man and often was always going to special meetings and traveling far and wide on business. He would always bring her some kind of special trinket from wherever he would go though and Oswin quickly had a collection going. She yearned for the days when her father would return and tell her about all of the exciting things that were happening out in the world.
Her mother made sure that Oswin was a happy child, giving her plenty of love and affection that all children need. As Oswin began getting a little older, her mother fell ill and her father quickly returned from business to help Oswin take care of her. Her mother insisted that she would be fine and they were all just making a big fuss but her condition deteriorated by the day. When Oswin was just 16 years old, she lost the most important woman in her life.
The weeks following her death was hell on earth for Oswin. She had to keep herself together in order to take care of her father who was falling apart at the seams. He blamed himself for her mother's death and soon began trying to wash his sorrow away with alcohol. Oswin did everything she could to stop her father from becoming an alcoholic, she'd hide his liquor and dispose of it but then he began seeking out alcohol from bars. She finally reached breaking point when her father returned home one night, drunk and with a hooker on his arm.
All of her feelings of sorrow and frustration came pouring out and she screamed and cried at her father, who seemed more confused by her outburst then anything else. She kicked the hooker out of their home and sent her father to bed. The next morning she told him what happened and he looked mortified. He swore to never touch alcohol again.
Things cooled down a little after that, her father slowly began going on his business trips again and then Oswin was left alone in a big, empty house. Rather then stay there all day she would go out in the town and explore, meet as many new people as she could. She dated plenty of boys but none ever seemed to captivate her interest for more then a few months.
When walking home late one night, a man tried to attack her, grabbing her from behind and pinning her body against the wall. She could smell the alcohol on his breath and she screamed and punched and tried desperately to get away from him as he tried to violate her. The attacker quickly grew agitated by her resistance and began trying to beat her down to make her quiet. She fell to the ground, her head smacking against the pavement and her world went fuzzy. She was saved by a mysterious stranger but as to how she would never say to her friends. She always told them that she simply didn't remember. She told herself that her mind had played tricks on herself that night, that what she'd seen couldn't possibly be real.
She's been looking for her savior every since to no avail.
Family{if any}: Mother - Deceased - , Father
Weakness: She likes to show off for her friends which can get her into trouble and also has a bit of an obsession in finding the person who saved her life. She's a little reckless and has a horrible time settling down.
Strength: She's very compassionate and empathetic towards other people. She's dedicated to what she loves and very loyal to those she calls her friends. She won't take any nonsense from people and has no trouble in telling you that you are in fact being an idiot.
